Are you passionate about helping puppies and small dogs find their forever homes? Join us as a Puppy Room Assistant and make a difference! By volunteering in the Puppy Room, you enable our staff to focus more on caring for the puppies and assisting potential adopters, helping each furry friend get adopted more quickly. We need assistance on the days the shelter is open to the public: Tu, Th, F, Sat 9:00 AM- 4 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Stay in the Puppy Room during your shift to assist staff.
- Wash bowls and keep feeding areas clean.
- Stock supplies such as food, bedding, and toys.
- Maintain clean pens and ensure a tidy environment.
- Monitor visitors during adoption hours and ensure they do not touch the dogs.
The shelter is open to Volunteers everyday 4:00 AM- 4:30 PM. Commitment is one hour per week or 4 hours per month.
